Flick Trick
How do I do the liner flick?
Makeup artist Jo Cleland says:
People with all sorts of eye shapes can do this look, but I think the length of the line depends on the type of skin you have.
For Asian skin that has a vast lid:
Start the flick from the tear duct and ‘flick’ all the way to the other end of the eye finishing with a slight incline at the end.
With hooded eyes:
Start at the centre of the eye and then flick to the end of the eye. To decide how long the end of the flick should be, make an invisible line from your pupil to the end of your eyebrow using a pencil and follow that line.
To master this action the best way is to hold your index finger at the end of your eyebrow and gently pull the skin up but not too much as the skin around the eye is delicate. Start the line from the inside and work outwards. Try doing as thin a line as possible as you can always add more. You could even do the flick first and then match the line afterwards!
It can be difficult at first, but just remember that practice makes perfect!
