bugs. . .

No, sadly not computer bugs (because right now that would be the preferable option)… but tummy bugs. They’ve hit our household in full force. First they got little miss so we had a weekend of no sleep, lots of grizzles and lots of… well, you know.

Now it’s my turn. And it’s horrific. I hope it’s just a 24 hour one. And I hope like mad that HE doesn’t get it because if Mr Beauty Goss does it would be a world-ending catastrophe. And no matter how I’m feeling, I’ll have to play nurse. So keep your fingers crossed for me.

While I’ve been lying on the couch groveling I have had the pleasure of perusing some magazines – Cleo and Next. Do you buy the Cleo each month to read the beauty panel? In it you’ll see what I, Amber Peebles and Michiko Hughes think of various products.

I’m also enjoying the new-look Next – if it can pull it’s pages to the level of Marie Claire or Madison then it will quickly become one of my must-have monthly purchases. I LOVE those Aussie magazines but there’s nothing like Kiwi fodder. For that reason I quite like MiNDFOOD, although I suspect it’s aimed at an older reader than me.
