mission impossible
I’m back. Finally. After the deadline from hell, I am finally able to start writing here as well.
I tell you what I’ve learned though – miracles are possible. And I’m a lot stronger than I thought. I was given the mission impossible – to piece together a whole magazine in 4 weeks, on my own! And i did it. Of course I had some help – my wonderful contributors. But the rest was up to me. And a couple of weeks of working until 11pm (until 3am the night before final deadline) and I got M2Woman off to the press! It’s out in the shops now, so I hope you’ve bought it. I hope you like it… but in my opinion, I’m only half way there! Lots of improvements to make for the next issue. It’s exciting.
In the meantime I’ve been causing a raucous on twitter where i honestly mentioned my frustration at a couple of beauty products. I’ll elaborate further soon when I finish those stories but in the meantime you really must be careful what you tweet (say).
You’ve also got to be careful what you wish for. I was really keen to get back into fulltime work and then when I did, I never had time to see my daughter. That’s changing and I think I am able to find a balance but just remember that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. You’ve also got to remember that balance is the key to life. That way you won’t get rundown and sick like I did in the past week post deadline.
What have you been up to?
What have you learnt lately?
I missed you!
