I love Twitter. Love it. I love reading other people’s tweets and I love the conversations I have with people who I wouldn’t normally be able to converse with. I love getting the news feeds from newspapers, bloggers and websites with updated posts and stories. I always hear world news first on Twitter, than before I read it online or see it on TV.

I’m getting a steady stream of info about what’s happening at New York Fashion Week – so much so that I don’t feel the need to be there (that’s a lie – I’d like to be, but can’t for various reasons). From the various makeup artists, bloggers and editors, I am finding out who is in the front row, what they’re wearing (lots with toeless shoes apparently which is quite crazy considering how cold it is), who is modelling, the atmosphere, the music and so on. It’s exciting.

It’s also fun asking the twitterverse random questions. Like which fake tanner do you prefer to use? There were a few votes for St Tropez, Dove Gradual Moisturiser and a vote for Clarins popped up.

Or who likes the new Cadbury Creme Eggs – given that they are imported from the UK and the centre is no long runny and gooey. Not many were happy about that and yet some were very happy about that.

Not that long ago I asked who used a day-a-page diaries or DPS format diaries and got quite strong result – most use DPS.
