The trend:

Donna Karan from DKNY says her Fall 2011 collection is street savvy crossed with school girl chic. It’s all about the young New York girl who can take her look from day to night. Charlotte Willer from Maybelline New York created the following look with minimal makeup to suit this style. It seems once again a natural, even complexion with a feature eye seems to on trend this autumn.

Create a nice even base to begin with

The tools:

1. Maybelline New York Superstay 24Hr Concealer- dab on concealer to create an even skin tone.
2. Maybelline New York Volum Express ‘The Falsies’ Mascara- Use lots of coats to create the open-eye effect. Apply to the top and bottom lashes.
3. Maybelline New York Eye Studio in Iced Fudge- give the eye lid a subtle hint of a shimmer and colour. It should be natural to not over shadow the eye liner.
4. Maybelline New York Line Express Eyeliner- follow the crease line across the eye lid and then pull the eye liner down and inward. Do not connect with the lash line.
5. Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lipstick- dab on the lipstick lightly. It should be a neutral colour.
