L.A.M.B with Maybelline New York
The trend…
Gwen Stefani’s label L.A.M.B. [love, angel, music, baby] showed six separate looks for her Fall NYFW show! Each look was big, bold and beautiful in true Stefani style. Her Mod Girls wore only black and white, her Solider Girls in khaki and her Raggamuffin Girls wore beautiful colours and prints. The makeup was definitely not going to be out shadowed though with outrageous eyeliner, heavy mascara and dramatic eyes! Our favourite was the cat-like eye, created by Maybelline New York’s Charlotte Willer, which was made up with heavily defined eye brows and eye liner. [A look we maybe wouldn't wear too often but cool none the less.]

- Maybelline New York Dream Matt Pressed Powder- Create a flawless base to build the dramatic eye around.
- Maybelline New York Expert Wear Blush in ‘Plushed Plum’- Apply blush lightly to the apple of your cheeks.
- Maybelline New York Superstay 24Hr Concealer- Moisturise lips first and then apply concealer on your lips. Make sure the lip is moist to stop it looking dry.
- Maybelline New York Volum Express ‘The Falsies’ Mascara- Heavily apply mascara to make the eye look more open.
- Maybelline New York Line Express Eyeliner in ‘Ebony Black’- KEY ELEMENT! Use this to outline the entire eye and define the eye brow. You want it to look really strong and stand out.
- Maybelline New York Eye Studio Silk Glam Quad Shadow in ‘Sapphire Siren’- blend in a dark, dark eye shadow on the eye lid and then use a silver pigment in the corner of the eye.
TIP: Overtop of the eye shadow draw on the eye liner in the crease to create the smudgy look.
