NZFW11 Juliette Hogan

Makeup Keyed by Josie Wignall for MAC…
The look for Juliette Hogan is always a variation of pretty in her past shows (2010 and 2009) she’s always done pretty with an edge and this year they took it one step further by glamming up the eye and making it sultry and sexy.
The look is “perfectly polished”.
“Perfect Matte skin was achieved by using MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation finished with Prep & Prime Sculpt Foundation Finished with Prep & Prime Transparent Finishing Powder.”
Eyes: MAC Soft Brown Eyeshadow was buffed over AroundWork Paint Pot and layered with Pure White Pigment to create a soft diffused eye.
Lips: Oak Lipliner with Fresh Brew Lipstick.
Hair was keyed by Lauren Gunn at Stephen Marr who created a textured beehive with a low slung ponytail. While watching her I noticed that the hair underneath was like a ball of hair – teased to an inch of it’s life. She told me that the trick of a good tease is that it is easy to brush back out. When you tease your hair you should do it along the hair shaft and it should be able to ‘undo’ itself easily. (Video to come).
