This has to be one of my favourite looks – simple, sexy and easy. The HAIR i’m talking about. Not the girl. Sheesh.

It just so happens that I have a how-to on this rock-chick look. Wella’s Global Creative Director, Eugene Souleiman created the look for Blumarine’s Milan Fall ’10 shows and here’s how he did it.

1. Spray Wella High Hair Crystal Styler, $25, on to the roots of freshly washed hair. With a large round brush, blow dry outwards to create root volume, making a centre part to keep it modern.

2. Use Wella System Professional Perfect Hair on the ends to hydrate and create shine.

3. Use a large curling tong to softly curl the bottom half of the hair. Once cooled, loosed the curls with hands so that they combine with the straighter hair on top producing a textured look.

Wear with lashings of black kohl, black leather and a shit-load of attitude.
