Forever Friday – Nap on a stick

Makeup artist Aimie Fiebig calls this her ‘magic stick’ – she used it on our beauty shoots to line the lower rim of the eye. This makes the eye ‘pop’ and look bright, as if you’ve had a mega amount of sleep. What is this splendid little number called? Benefit, Eye Bright, $AU36.

Unlike white eyeliners that can look chalky or quite false, this has a just a little touch of pink to it, so it’s a more natural highlighter. Some users have complained on Makeup Alley that it doesn’t work as a concealor – I think they’re crazy personally. I wouldn’t try rubbing this on the delicate skin under my eye – I think it really is best along the waterline of the eye.

It’s a creamy pencil and goes on super smooth – no tugging or irritation which again is PERFECT for when you’ve got tired, scratchy peepers.

Dubbed the ‘nap in a stick’ by Sephora, this little gem is my current face-saver! I have a post-deadline cold and I need all the help I can get!
