Light as air foundation

What woman doesn’t want a foundation that leaves her skin looking airbrushed and flawless? Most foundations promise it, but sadly, so few deliver. Which is why I’m fairly excited to tell you about one that does, and for only $34.99 to boot. That product is Maybelline Liquid Mousse Foundation.

From the first pump the formula blends well and leaves skin smoothed and perfected. You can also use a couple of layers of the foundation around eyes and do without concealer, unless you’ve had a particularly late night! My skin was left semi matte and slightly “glowy”, without being glittery or shiny.  And I really did look airbrushed, but without looking like I was wearing lots of makeup. Lots of people commented on my beautiful skin; if only they knew the truth! The formula also lasts. And lasts. And lasts. And it doesn’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles.

While some of the hype surrounding this latest formula is clearly PR generated – the “air whipped formula”, for example, feels just like other foundations, and your skin won’t be left “completely poreless” unless you apply very generously – any accolades it receives are well deserved. It delivers on the promise of beautiful airbrushed skin and really, what more could you ask for?
