nailing it…

I know it’s rather annoying, like being told by someone that they know a secret but they can’t possibly tell you, but I just HAD to share the new nail colours in Lancome’s Declaring Indigo colour collection which you won’t get to see for awhile. It’s not on counter yet, or for a month or so, but I just had to share. Annoying aye.

Note the vivid blue (Indigo) next to the glittering gold. That’s one coat, ladies and gentlemen and look how they shine. Not bad coverage aye? And that’s the day after I applied it, after bathing little miss. Without a base or a top coat (I know, the shame to be going against every manicure rule in the book, shhhh). Pretty good isn’t it? Imagine just how gorgeous two coats would look WITH a base coat and a top coat. Would look pretty splendid wouldn’t it? You want to wear it don’t you? Sorry, you’ll have to wait. (Unless you’re reading this across the ditch in Australia – then you don’t have to wait at all).

X’Cuse the photography. I know, I know, looks like a giant hand is threatening to take over the lounge. Just the weird crazy perspective I got while trying to snap the piccie myself, (don’t mind the pink polish spilt on the top of the bottle I’m holding either – the lid wasn’t tightened properly on the pink and it leaked in my bag. Fun).

What do you think? Liking the new colours? Lancome’s artistic director, Aaron de Mey, suggests painting nails in a gold and blue moon mani or french polish! C’est la vie.
