Notes from London

205Our girl, Claire Starkey, has hit the ground running and has managed to ditch our cold winter for London’s summery weather. While she finds her feet she muses about the flight and weather back home…

I’ve finally arrived in London it’s lovely and sunny and I’ve even sighted a squirrel.

In my opinion, there’s one reason winter is so rubbish. No, it’s not the rain leaking through our roof, the howling wind attacking me on my way to work or even the fact that my Vitamin D stores are fading faster than Lindsay Lohan’s fame. It’s the air conditioning.

It saps all the moisture from my face leaving it flaky and disgusting. It ruins my foundation, it ruins my life. So, when I decided to go on a long-haul flight, I was ready to arrive looking like death. But, believe it or not, I actually arrived looking better than when I left. How? Thanks to my new BFF Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Altitude Lotion Toner & Destresser.
I have to confess I’m not really big on toner, and to be honest I’m not sure why I put it in, but man am I glad I did. It basically has every vitamin under the sun in it (C,E, B1, B2 and B6),  and hydrating and soothing ingredients too. And it went into my skin, rather than just hanging out on the surface in a dulling fashion. After applying it mid-flight under moisturiser (Clinique moisture surge) I looked positively radiant. It seems you can put a price on love – $48 and worth every penny.

Thanks Napoleon for saving my face!
