Chubby lip pencils are nothing new but they haven’t exactly been popular around the makeup traps either. Bobbi Brown’s Ivy League collection, on counter Monday 1 February, has six new Lip Crayons, $NZ48, in Honeysuckle, Coral Pink, Raisin Berry, Posey, Dusty Nude and Wild Rose.

Creamy to apply, they feel exactly like a lipstick but have the ease and convenience of a chunky pencil. Each lip crayon comes with a custom-sized sharpener. The best thing is that they’re here to stay – after popular demand they will become a permanent part of the Bobbi Brown collection. So feel free to get hooked.

Also in the Ivy League collection are Creamy Eye Pencil, $NZ55. The colours are winter dark – Jet, Walnut, Caviar, Midnight, Hunter, Brown Plum, Dusk, Charcoal and Mahogany. There’s a smudger on the end of the pencil to soften the line and each pencil also comes with a complimentary sharpener.

Finally the collection offers a metallic green Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, $50 and two new metallic eye shadows in dirty greens, $52 and an Angle Eye Shadow Brush, $56 to make blending a dream.
