Review: Hand Essentials
With this colder weather comes all sorts of beauty concerns – dry hands being top of my list. There’s nothing worse than sitting in a meeting and looking down to see white, dry marks on hands. To combat this, I’ve been keeping a tube of QV Hand Cream in my car. It works a treat, my thirsty mitts soak it up quickly, it isn’t too greasy (making application at the lights quick and easy), and the hydration lasts. QV is a brand that those with sensitive skin will know well as a fantastic soap alternative, but consider it even if you don’t – it’s fragrance free, ph balanced and without known sensitizers like propylene glycol or lanolin. It’s not natural by any stretch of the imagination – the ingredient list includes glycerin, paraffinum liquidum, cetyl alcohol, methylparaben, citric acid and propylparaben. But it does the trick. And when it comes to solving one of life’s more inane dilemmas, it’s worth it. Oh, and I did tell you the price? It’s a steal at $NZ23.67.
