Lancome Magnifique

With the spiciness of saffron, the warmth of roses and smoky embrace of the exotic nargarmota wood, Lancome’s Magnifique is both a bold, earthy and more surprisingly, very feminine fragrance. While not as flirty as a more traditional floral based perfume, Magnifique instead alludes to a more sophisticated and elegant form of femininity. It’s collection of warm notes make it a wintery and sensual scent and the blend of rose, spices and woods give it an east-meets-west feel. Taking to the streets of Auckland, we found out what you thought.

“I like it because it’s girly, but not too sickly sweet. It has a nice warm scent which would make it a good everyday perfume to wear.” - Gemma Digby, 26, Publicist

“It’s not too sweet. I like it because it’s subtle and not too strong.” - Anna Rusk, 23, Property Manager

“Because I like it, I would put it on in the morning. It has a very woody smell.” – Gemma Heyes, 23, TV Producer.
