Trilogy treatments

Trilogy don’t actually provide spa-treatments yet that didn’t stop them giving us (beauty ed’s) facials, in order to experience their Age Proof products.
They’ve got two new prodz available to complete the ‘Age Proof’ range: Trilogy Age Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream, $44.90; and Trilogy Age Proof CoQ10 Eye Recovery Concentrate, $39.90.
The Cleansing Cream contains fruit enzymes from Papaya and Pineapple that help to dissolve dead skin cells and exfoliate (very gently) skin. It didn’t zing or feel uncomfortable – it gave a very clean, comfortable feeling.
The Eye Recovery Concentrate has that nifty rollerball technology, so you get a bit of a de-puffy under-eye massage while it infuses skin with product (which includes caffeine for taking down the puff in undereye IT bags). It felt great. In fact, I had asked if it needed to be kept in the fridge but the combination of glass bottle and rollerball meant that this gel had a very calming and cooling effect.
Of course the rest of the facial included other Trilogy products and I have to say I was impressed with how my skin looked after – plump, plumper than Kim Kardashian’s bum (have you seen her engagement ring???). It was a very cold day, I’ve been totally stressed out with work lately and so my skin was looking rather parched.
Apparently Trilogy don’t provide their products to salons because a) the market is saturated enough and b) they’d have to produce big bottles which might be wasteful given their natural status. It’s a shame as it works rather nicely. But I don’t blame them.
However, in the interest of being thrifty you could just give yourself a deep cleanse, mask and facial massage while drinking a delicious Pinot Noir and watching excellent (trashy) tv. Why not, it’s winter and New Zealand’s Next Top Model is starting soon…
Have you tried these products?

OH DEAR GOSSIES!
These two products aren’t on shelf until 1st July 2011. You’ll have to wait until then I’m afraid! x
