Aggy goes stylishly shaggy
Where will her crazy hair take us next? She burst into our consciousness with her signature platinum blonde pixie cut (defined by Vogue as “The Aggy”), then there was that somewhat disastrous and more-than-a-little-goofy bowl cut to a now reformed shaggy do and fringe – still sporting the platinum blonde – which she sometimes likes to wear in a simple pony. Her blend of beauty and boyish-cutesy remains a constant throughout her looks and her rebel haircuts take more than a little bit of nerve to pull off, but that’s why we love her.
In Agyness’ latest style, she often works a classic side sweeping fringe into her casual dos. Effortless and simple ponytails give her a playful, and for the first time, more of a girly look to her sexy and sultry spiky cuts of late. Couple this with minimal make-up and the result is naturally flawless in all her quirky cuteness. This girl’s bringing a whole new breed of supermodel and we love it x 10.
Servilles hairdresser and trichologist (hair and scalp expert in layman’s terms), Nigel Russell, says the platinum blonde thing is still hot-to-trot this season, but definitely not for the faint of heart. The right make-up and the right clothes are essential to make this look work and it is also one best kept for those younger faces, as cool ash tones can be harsh as we age. The undercut Agyness is now sporting (where the lower layers are shorter and the top layers fall over and do not connect) also creates some versatility with a cut that can be swept up or spiked.
Another edgy cut, this 25-year-old supermodel’s constant hair updates, both the oh la la’s and the nasty faux pas, are all part in parcel of her style – an androgynous look that thanks to this little lady, is still in full swing this season.
