What’s your earliest makeup memory? My mum using bright red lip-stick, pink blush and blue eye shadow to paint my face like a doll’s for a school dance show when I was about 8 years old.
What’s your daily makeup routine? Primer to prepare my skin, foundation and concealer, a bit of pink blush, lots of mascara and a dab of lip gloss. I try to minimise the amount I use during the day if we are in a performance season as I have to use lots for stage and don’t want to clog up my pores.
How do you change this for evening? In the evenings if I’m going out I will also wear black eye liner and my MAC lipstick.
Which do you prefer to enhance – eyes or lips? I prefer eyes because eyes are the most expressive part of the body – you learn a lot about a person through their eyes.
Do you have a favourite colour to wear on nails? I don’t wear much nail polish as we aren’t allowed to when we are performing but I like deep dark red nails.
Do you have a signature scent? I wear two different fragrances, one is called Stella by Tocca and the other is Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel.
What’s your favourite product? I can’t live without my MAC concealer! To cover up red spots and leave skin looking smooth.
What’s the one product you’re always on the hunt for? I’m constantly on the lookout for a good pimple treatment wash or cream. I also want a good mascara that’s easy to remove
What would be a beauty faux-pas that you’ve done? Plucking a massive chink of hair out of one of my eyebrows. It looked like I had a hole in my eyebrow.
What’s the best advice you’ve been told? Always take the time to take off your make-up and wash your face before bed.
Is there a makeup trend you haven’t tried but would like to? Fake tan! But I’m scared I’ll wind up looking like an oompa loompa!
