What’s your earliest makeup memory?

I actually have a terrible memory. I would imagine it was me sneaking into my mother’s makeup kit and grabbing the brightest lipstick I could find.

What was your first perfume?

My mother always travelled and would bring me home different fragrances to try.  One fragrance I remember always asking her for was Cacharel Loulou – I think I just loved the bottle.

Now, do you have a signature scent?

I adore YSL’s Cinema and tend to go with it day or night. I also have PRADA Amber which I love too.

Describe your everyday makeup look and what products you use:

I tend to stick to a very quick routine in the mornings; YSL Top Secrets followed by Teint Majeur foundation (very light coverage and excellent revitalising properties!) I use Touche Eclat without fail, a small amount of blush and layer of mascara to finish. I definitely prefer the natural no make-up look.

How do you change this for night?

I usually play up my eyes more, so I add eyeliner and some darker eye shadow to create a smokey eye look. I keep everything else very minimal – including my lips – just a touch of gloss.

What was the last item of makeup you bought?

Elizabeth Arden’s eight hour cream lip protectant stick – it’s such a fantastic product.

What’s on your shopping list to get?

Stella McCartney’s organic skin care – I’ve just run out and it’s the most amazing range of products. A trip overseas is needed asap.

Biggest hair/makeup disaster you’ve had?

Without a doubt, the over use of that disastrous product – Sun In

What are your thoughts on cosmetic surgery – would you? Have you?

It’s not for me, but I certainly don’t have strong feelings one way or the other.

Best beauty discovery?

At the moment, I would have to say YSL Top Secrets – it’s incredible.

Ultimate indulgence is?

Any time spent with my amazing partner Wayne. I’m very lucky.

What advice would you tell the younger you if you could go back in time?

Don’t worry so much and always, always wear sunscreen!
