Gwen ditches red lippie

The other day Gwen Stefani was snapped on the red carpet at Cannes without her trademark red lipstick. Instead she wore a vibrant pink, dark smokey eye and super curly hair-do.

We’re quite a fan of this look… particularly the hair which is rather similar to something we did in the Autumn issue of BeautyHQ. Richard Kavanagh was inspired by the voluminous locks on the catwalk for Marc Jacobs… fashion is a neverending circle….

I watched Richard create this look… you need to have a thin curling tong and create super small curls that you then fluff out. It is pretty amazing… a look I’d love to try for a party.
