Orange no more

Is Lindsay Lohan really the best person to front a new self-tanning product? She’s often used as an example of how NOT to self-tan. Perhaps that’s her winning angle as she claims to have never found a self-tanner good enough and thus has created this, with the help of airbrush tanning guru Lorit Simon.

It is chemical free, although DHA is the active ingredient. It also has caramel, chardonnay extracts, goji berry and coconut which make it sound more like a delicious dish than a tan in a bottle.

Called Sevin Nyne (a play on Lindsay’s lucky numbers), it’s available exclusively at Sephora for USD$35. Unfortunately they don’t ship to this side of the world so if you’re keen to try this product you either need a buddy in the US to send it over, or pick one up while travelling through.

We like the promo shot of Lilo… she looks hot with a tan that is properly applied plus a mass of strawberry blonde hair tumbling down her back.

This isn’t Lindsay’s first foray into products – her 6126 leggings were a runaway success so let’s hope for her sake that this lasts longer than her film career!
