This morning Nivea formerly announced their sponsorship of the next series of New Zealand’s Next Top Model, airing tomorrow night, TV3 at 7.30pm.

We were given a few insights by TV3 Network executive, Andrew Szusterman and Top Model judge, Colin Mathura-Jeffree, who said that this season will be slightly cattier – with the ‘older girls siding up against the younger ones’.

I watched the first series and loved it. I know, I’m in my early 30s and probably shouldn’t admit to these things but I did. It was my appointment watch for the week. (Hey – I had a four month old baby, what else was I going to do?). It was a great way to get through winter. I also loved Tabitha’s Salon Makeovers (PLEASE can we do one here!!!!!).

Anyway, this morning Nivea treated a few media peeps to a breakfast and a chat about Nivea and Top Model. We got a sneaky preview of last year’s winner, Christobelle’s Nivea ads that she filmed in Sydney. You can see why she won! She is great onscreen.

Nivea is of course an excellent brand match. Young models need good skin to succeed and even if they are naturally blessed with a gorgeous, glowing visage, they still need to look after it. Christobelle says she always goes to jobs with a clean face and some days she may have more than one job on so she’ll have to cleanse her face multiple times. She says Nivea is great because it does the job without drying her skin out. Nivea is ‘authentic and works’.

Christobelle is also a great walker, I watched her strut down the catwalk for the Trelise Cooper Show last night and she did very well.

Isaac posted a great interview on his site isaaclikes.com – read it here.

So, will you watch it tomorrow night? I will.
