NYFW Wes Gordon by Bobbi Brown

We love a bold lip and this gorgeous look by Bobbi Brown for Wes Gordon epitomises everything we’re thinking about Autumn & Winter this year.

First there’s the lip – bold, red and dynamic – the perfect focal point against a collection that is streamlined and oh-so-wearable (he sells well in department stores). The lip colours are: Blackberry Lipcolour and Black Ruby High Shimmer Lipgloss.

Eyes are smokey using the Tortoise Shell collection and topped with Black Everything Mascara. Cheeks are outlined with bronzer.

Kimberly Soane keyed the look and said the inspiration came from “elegant and flirty film legends like Anna Karina, Charlotte Rampling and Catherine Deneuve. The makeup enhances the clothes with a strong eye and dramatic lip inspired by the 1940s with a modern twist. Flawless skin provides the perfect canvas for a shimmery bronze eye and deep red lip with a high gloss finish….. bold, yet simplistic.”
