Hurry up warmer weather!

With all the sheer and lightweight garments appearing on shop shelves the temptation to start dressing light will start to irritate like an itch. One might even make a few mistakes and get caught out when the day dwindles into night. As tempting as it is to dress in just silk, it’s still far too cold (for the next couple of months anyway). Unless you’re a whizz with layering adding tights, jackets, cardigans or skivvies… which can become clunky. I digress.

The other night Trelise Cooper lured VIP clients, media and friends to Mercedes Benz in Newmarket to preview her summer collection. It was young and flirty – lots of sheer tops and skirts. It was very resort-like. It was very pretty!
