“I love MD Formulations and I’ve used that for a long time, I love their facial scrub and cleanser. But now, because of the lack of parabens I use Environ – it’s more natural. I love my Tonique toner from Lancome. I’m trying to get more into ‘no parabens’ with as many products as possible so that when I have my treat products, like that Prada body lotion, it doesn’t matter if it has them, I let it go.

But basically every day, (scrub is every other day), I cleanse morning and night. I like to use a very gentle eye makeup remover and I found this Nivea one. Over all the years I’ve used all sorts and they’ve all made my eyes water or they’ve been too oily, this is the gentlest, I love that one. Every night I apply Trilogy oil on any bit of skin… my hands… for repair. I love it… if it’s not Trilogy it’s another like this Living Nature or Nars.

I always wear sunblock. Then when I’m doing my makeup, what I like to start with is this Priori mineral makeup. I love mineral makeup, I don’t like liquid on my face because I have quite oily skin, I don’t like it feeling heavy. So I just touch up imperfections but basically I try to use as little as I can to have clear skin because otherwise I clog up. Then I put on Nars blusher, it’s called South Beach, I’ve used it for as long as i can remember … 7 or 8 years and I feel absolutely lost if i go out without putting it on and my face is just absolutely white… just a dob, dob, bit on the nose… then i use a Chanel all over blush which is a really good blush…and then I do my eyes with M.A.C Shroom, I love M.A.C eyeshadows the best. This is a very pale colour and I use it as a base, then I use this Midnight Blue with an edge brush to do the eye-line. Then I finish with mascara… I’m quite fussy, I don’t like them clogging. This is a L’Oreal one, I’ve got quite sensitive eyes and this one is light, I quite like it.

Then I’ll use the Prescriptive, Prep and Prime for shadow under the eyes. It’s essential but I only use a small amount, just dab it on lightly… I find i get a shadow there and this wakes my eyes up.

I finish it all off with a spritz of Molecule fragrance, it’s a really good day-to-night one and a lot of people comment on it. Then lip-liner, I’m loving Morange or coral colored lipsticks… and a bright orange lip pencil… I use those colours now it’s summery and my skin gets a bit more tan.

For night, I just tend to go over my eyes… I darken them a bit but I don’t really know how, I don’t really have the skill and I don’t really like too much makeup. I think there’s a whole trend to being more natural and people with loads of makeup just don’t look as good, in my opinion, maybe it’s to do with the lip being more the focus… and then i just trot on out into the night… five minutes… I don’t do much to my hair at all.

I see Greg at Ryder and I get my colour done by a new girl…  Natasha at Hamilton Brooks. I don’t like too many gold highlights, I need chestnut lights for my skin. Greg is a great cutter for my hair.

I don’t really do anything, I don’t even like to blow dry my hair – I just leave it. I just wash it and leave it. I don’t like irons on it – I just want to keep the texture thick. As I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed that those who use too much hair dye can end up with obviously thinning hair, either along the scalp line or even at the ends. It can really affect your volume. Have a look at anyone – a tv presenter or someone in life – people with dyed black hair get a big scalp line here or wherever their parting is because the hair is thinning, the chemicals are so strong. The other thing is thinning hair on the ends. I’ve got thick hair and i want to keep it. So I’m very aware of chemicals and that’s my main thing – not too much processing, if you’ve got thick hair … keep it.
