Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to put on your prettiest you for the night. And what better way to add a bit of extra something to your look than with your hair.

Casual glamour…

  1. Add a summery texture to your hair by blast drying it with Redken Woolshake.
  2. Make sure it’s thoroughly dried before brushing it out to release that dusty lived in texture that is so hot right now.

Topknots…

  1. Buns and topknots need to shift further back to below the crown for a more high fashion feel.
  2. Start by getting some texture into your hair. Blast dry hair with Redken Full Frame 07 Mousse into dry hair and brush it through once it’s dry.
  3. Pull your hair into a ponytail, twist it back onto itself and secure casually with pins.
  4. Use your fingers to loosen some hair on the top of your head for to create interest and shape, and to make it look a little less contrived.

For short hair…

  1. If your hair is short, tuck it behind your ear to highlight your cheekbones and let it fall across one eye for a sexy peekaboo feel.
  2. Fix it into place with Redken Workforce Flexible Styling Spray to help keep out humidity.

For long hair…

  1. If your hair is long, wear it out.
  2. Create bohemian waves using a curling iron and wrapping sections of hair around the hot iron to create a seventies feel.
  3. Brush it liberally so that it feels light and romantic…

Accessorise…

  1. Add accessories like a black elastic headband, or exposed bobby pins to liven up your style in a modern and slightly utilitarian way.
